• While Rover and similar apps are great for finding a pet sitter on occasion, they leave lots to be desired. Typically, you will end up with people who are just looking to make side cash, inexperienced people, non-certified people, and you cannot guarantee you will get the same sitter each time. With Walk-A-Wookie, you can rest assured that the two owners will always be the ones to manage your house while away. We keep things consistent, have flexible availability, and work with you and your pets to ensure the highest comfort while you are gone.

  • Please contact us to discuss your individual care needs. Every situation is unique! Our contact information is located throughout our website, or down below at the bottom of the page. Our first step is to schedule a meet-and-greet, so we’ll start there to meet you, your furry family, and see the property!

  • Yes we do! We will happily come to your house, meet you and your furry friends, and check out the walking neighborhood and go over pet instructions. Upon a successful visit, if you decide to employ Walk-A-Wookie, we'll ask you to complete forms related to home access, pet information, etc.

  • Yes. For the best care and for our scheduling purposes, we will provide service on a consistent basis each and every time.

  • Upon a successful initial consultation, we will ask for either:

    • A copy of your house key, or

    • A location with detailed instructions for finding the key on your property, or

    • If door is operated by a code, a copy of said code and an emergency number to contact you if locked out for any reason (battery, freezing, etc.)

  • We require at least 24 hrs. cancellation notice for any scheduled care or visit. If we do not receive 24 hrs. notice, we will bill for the initial amount of the appointment. That bill will be waived if we have 24 hrs. notice or more.

  • We will create a detailed invoice for you to view, and quotes for you to approve. We have multiple options for payment! We accept cash, checks made to “Walk-A-Wookie,” debit/credit card, and online payment services including:

    • PayPal: paypal.me/walkawook

    • Venmo: @walk-a-wookie

    • CashApp: $walkawookie

    We require a 50% deposit on any quote meeting or exceeding $200.

  • Yes. All medication information, security information, and contact information for your home and person are purely confidential and will only be used for normal access to your house, and contact in case of emergency.

  • No. For the safety and security of each and every pet, no animal is walked off-leash.

  • Yes! If you have any required medications, we will ask that you thoroughly describe its intake and scheduled times via our intake form. *Please note that Walk-A-Wookie and its care providers are NOT veterinarians and DO NOT perform injections for medications*. We ask that you provide individual pre-labelled doses for the duration of a pet-sitting visit. Oral medications will always be provided either via Pill Pockets, a pocket alternative, or directly into their food.

  • If you choose to sign up for this feature, you will have access to your own account with Walk-A-Wookie. In your account page, you can view invoices, quotes, payments, and the best part - we upload daily pictures of your pets to view!
