Dog Walking & Pet Sitting

Walk-A-Wookie was founded in 2023 with the concept of offering quality, personal, one-on-one walking and pet-sitting services for your beloved family fur-members. We do not simply gather a group of dogs and walk them at the same time - we provide a much more comfortable solution for your pets. We travel to your location, walk your dog(s) in your own neighborhood, and leave a personalized note with a description of our time together and fun activities! Our services are not just limited to individualized dog walking - we offer pet-sitting, house-sitting, and more!

DOGS:

  • Dog walking (one-on-one)

  • Dog sitting

  • Includes feeding, playtime, and necessary medications

CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:

  • Cat sitting

  • Small animal sitting (rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, turtles, etc.)

  • Includes feeding, playtime, and necessary medications

  • Clean litter/bedding/cages

HOUSE Care:

  • House sitting

  • Garden tending

  • Includes taking out trash, watering plants, bringing in mail/boxes

  • Includes anything else you need to keep your home running while you’re away!

We serve a large portion of Northern Vermont and New Hampshire. Being headquartered directly on the Connecticut River between both states allows us to provide for customers on both sides!

RATE$

Due to each unique walking or sitting situation, we offer free estimates for dates of service to encompass all of your needs. We encourage customers to provide us with their dates of travel, how many visits per day, and how long each visit needs to be (30 minutes or 1 hour), and we’ll send over a detailed quote for services.

However, we are committed to being transparent about all rates upfront and provide both a basic and detailed breakdown of pricing below:

  • All dog walks include feeding and watering. All dog walks are at your home location or in your home neighborhood.

    Book before Memorial Day of 2024 - for customers looking for a weekly (5 consecutive days) walking schedule, we’re offering a package discount - 5 walks for the price of 4!

    1 Hour Walk - $35

    30 Minute Walk - $25

    Weekly (5 Days) 1 Hour Walk - $150

    Weekly (5 Days) 30 Minute Walk - $100

  • All “check-ins” include feeding and watering. “Check-ins” are only performed during business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Maximum of 2 “check-ins” per business day. Overnight stays are from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m.

    Overnight - $60

    1 Hour Check-In - $35

    30 Minute Check-In - $25

  • A “check-in” includes: getting mail and packages from outside, taking out trash, adjusting heat if needed, checking on lights, water drips, leaks, and 15 minutes of shoveling walkways/snow during winter. Overnight stays are from 8 p.m. until 8 a.m.
